Ember Eve Barn

Ember Eve Barn is very special, with old oak beams, two bespoke blacksmith forged chandeliers, an open plan living area and Country Style Kitchen, but the best features are the four poster bed and the unique spiral stairway leading up to a ‘hobbit’ size door which opens out onto a large balcony where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee overlooking the lovely views of the surrounding fields. Ember Eve Barn is included in the cost of your wedding.

Harvest Moon Barn

Oak topped flooring runs through the living areas. A ‘Shabby Chic’ dining table and chairs and new country style fitted kitchen provide a comfortable environment for relaxing and entertaining.

The Bell Hotel, Winslow

Just over 5 miles from Winters Tale Country Barn, The Bell Hotel in Winslow has 42 rooms including double, twin, family and single rooms. With four superior rooms with the luxury of jacuzzi baths and four poster beds, and four of standard rooms suitable for disabled guests.

Additional Cottages Available

We have three cottages that can be hired in advance by your guests if they would like to extend their stay for 3 days or longer to enjoy Buckinghamshire and the surrounding Counties. The cottages are situated between London and Oxford so are also perfect for a day out in the City.

All three cottages are popular and receive bookings quite far in advance by guests visiting our area, so give your guests plenty of notice to ensure availability.

Shoemakers Cottage

Situated 13 minutes from Winters Tale in Winslow is Shoemakers Cottage, a quaint 4 storey cottage full of character sleeping four.

Lavender Cottage

24 minutes away in a lovely English village called Evenley near Brackley is thatched Lavender Cottage. Full of beams this quaint cottage sleeps 4.

Lantern Cottage

Also in Evenley is Lantern Cottage. On the village green and ideal for watching the cricket the cosy cottage sleeps 3 comfortably.

In Buckingham which is about an 15 minutes by car from Winters Tale there is the Travel Lodge and next door to it is the new Premier Inn (opposite Tesco stores).

Often the morning after a Wedding the Bride and Groom and parents join their guests in Buckingham for breakfast before returning to collect their belongings, so it’s all very relaxed!

If your guests are travelling a long distance, they may like to extend their stay as Buckinghamshire is a lovely county with plenty to see.
